How It Started
I spent five years tiling showers for a Mesa remodeling crew before I started Ironwood. What pushed me to go out on my own was watching a client get hit with a bill $12,000 over the quote they’d been given. Nobody had lied to that homeowner outright, the estimate had just been vague enough, and the change orders frequent enough, that the number quietly climbed the whole way through the project. I remember thinking that shouldn’t be normal, and that it wouldn’t be, on anything with my name on it.
